Unable to mount NFS share in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
Issue
- Unable to mount the NFS share and getting below errors:
mount.nfs: requested NFS version or transport protocol is not supported
# showmount -e <NFS-Server>
clnt_create: RPC: Program not registered
# rpcinfo -p <NFS-Server>
No remote programs registered.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 as NFS server
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 as NFS client
- NFS
