EJB2 MDB support on JBoss-EAP-6

Issue

  • We have some EJB2 MDB clients on eap 5 we need to migrate to EAP 6.2.1 server. Since EAP server only have EJB3 subsystem, we tested that EJB2 can work with the EJB3 default resource adapter. Is EJB2 MDB only supported for default resource adapter ? (The RA is defined in EJB3 subsystem). Is there a way to connect an EJB2 MDB to a resource adapter defined in resource-adapter subsystem ?
