Hibernate sqlexception "Invalid parameter 1: Parameter is not set nor registered" on EAP6

Issue

We are migrating an existing application, from Jboss 4.2.3-GA community edition to JBoss EAP 6.2.0 version(not a community version). In these efforts we were trying to upgrade to hibernate 4. But when we do that and try to login we get the follow exception trying to read from the database with our jpa object:

With the rest of the error in the log file attached.

I have tried printing out the parameters and it looks like they are there but for some reason we don't have something configured correctly so that the jpa object can see them.
