Why default gateway disappears when bonding a vlan tagged rhevm network from RHEM-GUI and host becomes non-responsive?

Issue

In RHEV-3.0.3, after bonding a vlan tagged "rhevm" network with another interface, hypervisor became non-responsive (if RHEVM and hypervisors are in different subnets) and "route -n" command on the hypervisor does not show a default gateway.

GATEWAY=x.x.x.x line from /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-rhevm has disappeared after bonding was done which was there before bonding.
