logrotate is not rotating files in custom location

Issue

• We're using a custom location for log files of one of our services and despite adding a drop file to /etc/logrotate.d, the logrotate cron job is not rotating our logs.

• logrotate isn't rotating once added the below configuration in /etc/logrotate.d/ .. why?

  /var/log/rsyslog/*/*/*.log 
  {
  ...
  }
