Why ipa-client-install command fails with "HTTP response code is 401, not 200" ?
Issue
- Failed to Join IPA Client
- Joining realm failed: HTTP response code is 401, not 200
- While trying to enroll an ipa client with the following command:
ipa-client-install -f -N --mkhomedir --domain=$domain --server=$server --realm=$REALM -p admin -w ****** --hostname=$hostname -U -d
It fails with "HTTP response code is 401, not 200" error
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- ipa-client-3.0.0-37.el6.x86_64
- ipa-server-3.0.0-25.el6.x86_64
- agent-bladelogic-8.0-1
