Overview
Red Hat provides a published product life cycle for mirror registry for Red Hat OpenShift, in order for customers and partners to effectively plan, deploy, and support their infrastructure. Red Hat publishes this life cycle in an effort to provide as much transparency as possible and may make exceptions from these policies as conflicts may arise.
Due to the mirror registry for Red Hat OpenShift limited scope and defined limitations the life cycle for the mirror registry for Red Hat OpenShift only provides a single release-delimited life cycle, where in only one minor version of the product is support at any point in time. With the release of a new major or minor version the subsequent major or minor version will no longer be supported and maintained (receive software patches/updates).
Customers making use of the mirror registry for Red Hat OpenShift are expected to be able to have the capability to rebuild and re-sync (mirror) image content as needed, all maintenance or update capabilities provided by mirror registry for Red Hat OpenShift, are documented for only for operational convenience.
All released errata will remain accessible to active subscribers across the entire life cycle.
Life Cycle Phases
Full Support
This phase begins at the GA/release of the major or minor version and ends with the release of the superseding major or minor release.
Full support is provided according to the published Scope of Coverage and Service Level Agreement. Likewise, Development Support is provided according to the published Scope of Coverage and Service Level Agreement.
During the Full Support Phase, qualified Critical and Important Security Advisories (RHSAs) will be released as they become available. Urgent and Selected High Priority Bug Fix Advisories (RHBAs) will be released as they become available; all other available fix and qualified patches may be released via periodic updates.
