Enabling/Disabling the deployment scanner in JBoss EAP 6/7

Issue

• How to enable/disable the deployment scanner and hot deployment on JBoss EAP 6/7?
• Deployment scanner is set to 0 by default in standalone-full-ha.xml.
• Is it better to disable the scan-interval in a production environment?
• What is the recommended way to disable the deployment-scanner in JBoss EAP 6/7?
• I'm trying to see we have a way to disable the deployment scan and keep the application in a folder and install it only during the restart of the server.
• What is the 0 in scanner interval ? Do i have way to remove the scan interval or do i have way not to can it.
• We would like to know the meaning of scan-interval="-1" .Could you please verify is deployment scanner enabled or not . If enabled Which part of attached standalone-full-ha.xml is that ? .
