Enabling or Disabling the Deployment Scanner in JBoss EAP 6, 7, and 8

- How to enable/disable the deployment scanner and hot deployment on
JBoss EAP 6/7/8? deployment-scanneris set to 0 by default in standalone-full-ha.xml.- Is it better to disable the scan-interval in a production environment?
- What is the recommended way to disable the deployment-scanner in
JBoss EAP 6/7/8? - I'm trying to see we have a way to disable the deployment scan and keep the application in a folder and install it only during the restart of the server.
- What is the 0 in scanner interval? Is there a way to remove the scan interval?
- We would like to know the meaning of scan-interval="-1". Could you please verify if that means that the deployment-scanner is enabled or not? If enabled, which part of the attached standalone-full-ha.xml is that?
