How do I enable and use the rewrite valve in JBoss EAP 4 & 5

Issue

• We have jboss admin url as http://IP:8080 and the web url http://myapp.example.com.   The web instance apache is setup to serve the url http://myapp.example.com which is proxying to same jboss app server usng AJP.  Our requirement is if any user hit the jboss app url directly in their browser ..ie., http://IP:8080/abc it has to redirect to http://myapp.example.com/abc
