1.10. Product Documentation

In this release of RHEL OpenStack Platform, the content published as KBase articles in previous release has been compiled into a series of guide based around the major components and administrative tasks in RHEL OpenStack platform. With this change, all documentation is now available in the html, html-single, epub, and pdf formats. Moreover, information on evaluating RHEL using the Packstack deployment tool is no longer published under the product documentation page, but several scenarios for using this tool can be found on the RHEL OpenStack Platform product page.
The following titles are included in the product documentation:
Architecture Guide
An introduction to each of the major components in RHEL OpenStack Platform, and to a set of example scenarios. This guide combines content from the Component Overview included in RHEL OpenStack Platform 6 with additional content that outlines sample considerations and scenarios for designing RHEL OpenStack Platform environments.
Back Up and Restore Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform
An introduction to backing up, restoring, and planning recovery for a RHEL OpenStack Platform director environment.
Bare Metal Provisioning
An introduction to procedures for installing, configuring, and using the Bare Metal Provisioning service in the Overcloud of a RHEL OpenStack Platform environment.
Command-Line Interface Reference
A reference to the command-line clients in RHEL OpenStack Platform, including a list of available commands, syntax, and options.
