Static assignment of device names(sda etc)

Hi,

apparently RedHat 9 is changing block device assignments randomly on boot ( maybe depending on which scsi-controller boots first? ) and it's messing up everything -

What is a somewhat simple way to fix it? I'm not a linux sysadmin or linux guy in general.

I don't quite understand how labels would fix anything because I would have to change every script that uses a device name, so what other option is there?

REALLY annoying, didn't happen with RHEL8.x
