Jboss-web.xml file got corrupted

Dear Team,
Customer production environment got down and after some debugging, team found that the below jboss-web.xml file got corrupted – in fact the content got completely wiped out. After the team restored the file from lower environment, the issue got resolved and the Kieserver is again up and running. Attached snapshots of error message from the log files for your reference.

Error code - WFLYUT0027: Failed to parse XML descriptor.

We haven't able to trace why file entries are removed, as no movement on server recorded. Please support to get this RCA done, anyone faced similar issue, please connect.
