Confused between OKD and CodeReadyContainers

Latest response

Hi There,

I am hands on with opensource kubernetes and now moving myself towards openShift as my company is planning to implement RedHat OpenShift for the entperise wide requirements. By the way I have 23 years of Software Development experience and I am Azure Solution Architect with DevOps skills set.

I want to learn openshift and a friend of mine suggested OKD but later while I was reading documents I came across CodeReadyContainers topic so at that point of time I got confused which one I should use?

I have my office laptop with 32Gig of ram and 1tb SSD and at home I have BareMetal environment at home with 64Gig and 4 TB SDD but I prefer my office laptop so I can roam around with cluster.

Keeping in mind my experience and usage of DevOps pipeline and software deployment which one I shud go for OKD or CodeReadyContainers? heard CodeReadyContainer successor of minishift.
