  • history of selinux behaviors?

    Posted on

I need to report on system configurations regarding selinux booleans.   Requirements dictate that I need to support back to redhat 4.  What is the best way to get a handle on the way selinuxbooleans are handled across each redhat version?

I need to query the booleans on the system, get their status, and 'pending' status, if there is one.

It appears that the 'commit' action and 'pending' condition have become obsolete.  I'm just not sure how to tell when each happened in the redhat development/release sequence?

Pointers to some reading material would be appreciated.
