Kernel configuration parameter - HZ

Hi,

 

Since kernel 2.6.13, the HZ value is a kernel configuration parameter. Can someone please help me, I am trying to find out how I can set HZ value on RHEL 6.

Thanks for the doc link. But the kbase does not address the question for RHEL 6. 

 

Is the default HZ value for RHEL 6 also 1000?

RHEL6 uses tickless kernel. So this may not be relevant. See below link.
