Failure booting 4.18.0-305.10.2.el8_4.x86_64 image

Hello...
A couple weeks ago installed an update which brought kernel image 4.18.0-305.10.2.el8_4.x86_64. Since then, I've been having to select the previous image version to boot on my Thinkpad T495 w/AMD Ryzen 7.
I'd like to diagnose the problem. I've tried editing the grub command removing the "rhgb quiet" parameters, setting the loglevel to 7 and adding the parameter systemd.log_level=debug. With this, the last line I see printed is the LUKS passphrase prompt. When I type it, it does not show the asterisks, as if it wasn't receiving the input, but, some seconds after hitting enter, I see the LED under the F1 key blink, so it seems the boot process advances some more, though nothing gets printed on the logs.
I've tried to erase and reinstall the image with rpmverbosity=debug and it seems the installation finishes successfully.
Any ideas on how to further diagnose this problem? Thanks!
