Extend disk size allocated to nodes on OCS 4.6

Hello,

We have 2 disks attached to each of the three OCS nodes. These are configured as PVs in OCS. Disks are allocated to the OCS nodes from VMware.
We want to extend the capacity available on OCS.
If we extend the existing disks on VMware side will the new capacity be reflected on OCS side (eventually rescan on OCS nodes, running RHCOS). Is this possible at all, anyone has tried it?
Or we always need to add additional disks for extending the capacity of OCS?
