Kiosk-Mode in RHEL 8.2 - Window/Title Bar missing

I've followed these instructions to implement a kiosk mode on a RHEL 8.2 server to strongly restrict the access to a single application for some users within a XRDP session:

So far so good. The trouble is, when these specific users logon to the server, the window title bar of the application window does not show up and any open(sub-)window cannot be resized or maximized (see attachment). Does anybody has an idea how I can enable the window bar and it's features? I'm not nearly familiar enough with the GNOME/Mutter user interface stack.
