RAID Rebuild also replicate the filesystem errors?

We have two disks RAID1 setup, one raid leg is failed and reaming one has filesystem errors; affected partition is /var. Currently RAID is in degraded state and installing the new disk ... RAID will start the rebuild.

I want to know if know rebuild will replicate the filesystem errors too on the good drive? How should we proceed with recovery?

Environment details:
- Disk family Flash drives
- Filesystem EXT4
- Installed OS RHEL7
- Its hardware RAID1 configured.
