What Subscriptions are required when using container images?

When I want to upload and use an image in the docker/kube environment

Q1. Do I need a subscription when using unauthenticated registry.access.redhat.com? (ex: jboss 6.4 image)

Q2. What subscription should I have when using registry.redhat.io?
(ex:when using jboss 6.4 image -> need only jboss subscription / need openshift subscription)
