Mounting cifs per user

Is there a way to mount shares per user at login? I have an Active Directory domain joined server, and I'm trying to get it to function in a similar way to a Windows Terminal Server, where each domain user who logs on has their own mapped drives independent of other logged on users.

I would like to do that without manual intervention, like not updating fstab with a new UUID for every new user.

And it would be nice if the mapping, or who gets what drive, can come from either an Active Directory group or at least a single config file.

I'm not a *nix expert by any means, so I'm struggling with this. If this is not the right forum to post, let me know and I'll remove it.
