Kernel vulnerabilities in Extended Update Support

Few CVEs are not covered in RHEL EUS 7.4 but Red Hat states they support 7.4 (ends August 31, 2019). If Red Hat cannot provide support for all vulnerabilities what do they actually support in EUS.

For Ex: CVE-2016-7913 is remidiated only in Kernel version "kernel-3.10.0-862.el7" which is only available in RHEL 7.5
