opt-out of receiving garbage emails

Latest response

I have asked the Redhat personnel several times to stop sending me all of their useless bug-fix emails. I've logged in to their customer portal to TRY and change my email preferences, those that I never opted-in for, but there are no de-select options available. I tried removing my email address, but I'm required to have an email address. Any advice on how to stop receiving their crap?

Hello Trinitysafety,

I reduce the amount of messages to a daily digest.

It should be able to turn them of completely.

Are you using a Satellite server, if so check your Satellite user profile.

Hi !

Just came across your post and as much as I understand your frustration, I want to say that there is no need to rant. The "crap" you are talking about is a very useful service which Red Hat provides without charging of any costs for free - you may use it or not. You can visit https://www.redhat.com/wapps/ugc/protected/notif.html anytime and uncheck whatever you want - don't forget to scroll down and save the changes. Please note that nobody forces you to use Red Hat products and read the "useless bug-fix emails", so please be friendly and nice ! Thank you.

Regards,
Christian
