Net::SSH::Disconnect connection closed by remote host v 6.2.7

Client system RHEL 7.3

While pushing out a reboot job it will fail with the error:

4: Failed to refresh the connector
5: Net::SSH::Disconnect connection closed by remote host

The system will reboot but the job will fail.

This may fix the issue, however we do not use NetworkManager

The bugzilla ( https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1403320 ) has been closed and has a Target of 6.2.7, however the issue still remains.

Is the bug still being worked on and is there a fix for those who do not use NetworkManager?
