Complete File List for RHEL 6.7

Latest response

Is there a complete file list for RHEL 6.7 in the documentation anywhere? I haven't been able to locate it, if so.

I didn't install from the dvd's, so can't figure it out that way.

Thanks for any pointers/info you can provide.

Figured out a way to get this info myself. "yum history list all" Then pick then first one or two items in the list, which will be the initial installation. You can look at the files by doing "yum history info " where number is the history number.

Once you have all the history numbers you need from looking at "yum history info ", do "yum history info " where firstnum and lastnum are the first and last history numbers of the installation.

Redirect it into a file: "yum history info > filename.txt" Edit out the cruft from the top and bottom of the file.

Then extract the second column from the file and sort it: "filename.txt | sort > filename_sorted.txt". You now have a sorted list of files in the distribution. Perhaps not perfect, but close.

To list all installed packages on the system following should be sufficient. rpm -qa. Or at installation time the anaconda logs
