Hello
Have you tried following the procedures in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Networking Guide? I think the chapter Configure IP Networking is the place to start.
Note that ifconfig is deprecated. See What happened to ifconfig in RHEL7? for more information on why it is deprecated.
Hello Sameh, I would add to Stephen's reply that interacting with the network stack has changed in RHEL 7 from what you may have been accustomed to with previous versions - and for numerous reasons. (like the ifconfig example Stephen provided).
You have many options on how you may proceed, but I recommend becoming familiar with the doc Stephen provided. That will ensure that you are going to be successful in the future.
If you absolutely need to use the sysconfig network scripts, you can https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/7/html/Networking_Guide/sec-Network_Configuration_Using_sysconfig_Files.html
But.. again.. I recommend you read the entire guide to make sure this is a direction you want to go (and support).
