Capsule Provisioning Problem

We have a secondary site with a capsule and are almost able to provision content hosts at this site. During the install process, the hosts fail to register with the satellite with the error "Unable to verify server's identity: certificate verify failed". Hosts provisioned from the satellite itself do not have this problem and I'm not sure why it's happening when provisioning at the remote site. Does anyone have any insight to this issue?
