How do I use the "bcm43xx" based Broadcom Chipset wireless devices under Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5?

Updated -

NOTE: This is a solution that is not supported by Red Hat. Use of this solution is at the user's risk.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 kernel ships bcm43xx kernel module and supported devices should get auto-detected upon running the system-config-network tool. These will also require a compatible firmware to load by the bcm43xx kernel module.
