I installed the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.3.1 from Sun Microsystems. Now when I try to run java I get an error message similar to the following: 'Error occurred during initialization of VM Unable to load native library: /usr/java/j2sdk1.3.1/jre/lib/i386/libjava.so: symbol __libc_, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference.' How can I fix this?
