[2014] CVE name change for errata: longer CVE identifiers impacting RHN Classic/Hosted and Red Hat Satellite

Updated -

In the Year 2014, the CVE syntax has changed from CVE-YYYY-1234 (exactly four digits, from 0001 to 9999), to CVE-YYYY-1234+ (exactly four digits from 0001 to 9999 and after that adding a single digit, so CVE-2014-10000 is valid to CVE-2014-99999 at which point CVE-2014-100000 is valid, and so forth).

If you are a RHN Classic/Hosted customer only and do not use Red Hat Satellite, no action is needed.

If you are a Red Hat Satellite 5.x customer, please apply the applicable erratum below by following the steps in the Solution section to ensure the Satellite server is able to synchronize erratas containing the longer CVE identifiers (otherwise satellite-sync will fail) -
