Why does the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 Update 9 installer running on my Fujitsu or Fujitsu-Siemens TX200S3 with LSI MegaRAID 8300XLP ZCR card not recognise my disks?

The driver distributed with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update 9 does not detect some newer ZCR cards, please visit the Fujitsu Siemens website and download the latest driver disk zip file from: ftp://ftp.fujitsu-siemens.com/pub/linux_drivers/

The driver required is megaraid_sas. Once you have created a driver diskette you can then install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 Update 9 by using the 'linux dd' option at the kernel boot prompt and inserting your boot diskette when prompted.
