The sg module is not being loaded on boot, how can I configure the system to load this module during the boot sequence?

Problem Description: I can install the sg module after booting by typing modprobe sg. I have tried several different entries in the /etc/modules.conf, but I do not know what to put in that file to get the sg module to load on boot. The device is a tape library that I am trying to use.
