Red Hat Enterprise Linux Go Toolset - Development Status Page

Go Toolset delivers the Go programming language tools and libraries. This document captures Red Hat engineering's tentative plans, progress and status as upstream Go releases are packaged and released to Red Hat's customers and partners in Red Hat Enterprise Linux asynchronous errata.

All dates and timelines are approximate and subject to change.

Red Hat plans to release all Go Toolset updates, subject to testing and qualification, and aims to do so promptly after each upstream release. In general, upstream Go releases occur every six months. Red Hat will package and release new Go releases to RHEL appstream within 3 months of the upstream release date. New Go releases will occur first into the latest RHEL minor release and follow immediately in all supported RHEL EUS releases.

2025-12-05 - Go 1.25.3 now available via update in RHEL 8.10, 9.7 and 10.1.
