When configuring user quotas, how do I determine the block size on my storage device?

To set up user quotas, a sysadmin must edit the aquota.user file to specify limits on the number of blocks that can be used. To determine the actual size of a block on the filesystem, issue the command:

dumpe2fs /dev/sda1 | less
