Are AMD EPYC 9005 "Turin" platforms fully supported by Red Hat?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.4
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.10
- AMD Turin platforms
Resolution
The AMD EPYC 9005 "Turin" platform using the "Zen 5" core architecture was collaboratively enabled by AMD and Red Hat for support in RHEL8.10, and RHEL9.4. At this time, "Turin" platforms with up to and including the 128-core configuration are supported by Red Hat. However, CPU configurations with greater than 128 cores require further testing and possible updates before they can be supported across Red Hat's product line.
