Which versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux support the AMD Opteron 6200-Series Processor?

AMD Opteron 6200-Series processors, code named "Interlagos", are supported as of the following Red Hat Enterprise Linux releases:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1

Support is not present in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.

Systems previously certified on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 or an earlier release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 which have been upgraded with an Opteron 6200-Series Processor require Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1 or 5.7 at a minimum to be supported. Systems may also require later versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux due to additional component or peripheral support.
