How to check if a network interface supports Precision Time Protocol (PTP)?

First introduced in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4 as a "Technology Preview" feature1, Precision Time Protocol (PTP) is now a fully supported feature for Red Hat Enterprise Linux starting with the 6.5 and 7.0 releases. There are no plans to support this feature on any older versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
