How do I execute a startup script when a user logs in to the gnome desktop under Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3/Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4?

Updated -

Resolution: Log in as the user, and run the gnome-session-properties command from a terminal. For example:

$ gnome-session-properties

Alternately, start up gnome-session-properties from the Desktop as follows.

For Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4: Applications > Preferences > <...>
