How ping command creates custom data pattern using -p option

When a user wants to have some own pattern in a packet data part of an ICMP ping request, he needs to use ping -p
option for it.

$man ping
...
       -p pattern

You may specify up to 16 “pad” bytes to fill out the packet you send. 
This is useful for diagnosing data-dependent problems in a network.
