Is kdump working and supported on my UV2000 system?

Issue:

• As of RHEL6.2, a successful kdump test is required for all Red Hat certified systems.

Environment:

• RHEL6
• More then 512 CPUs
• More then 4TB of memory

Resolution:

• As of RHEL6.2, a successful kdump test is required for all Red Hat certified systems.
• However, the UV2000 may require selinux to be disabled on larger hardware configurations in order for a kdump to succeed.
• If a kdump is requested by Red Hat for troubleshooting purposes, please ask the support engineer for instructions on how to disable selinux.
