"[ERROR] Invalid (old?) table or database name '.trashcan'" when deploying MariaDB Container with gluster CNS backed PVC

- Openshift 3.7.x
- MariaDB 10.2 - 1-20 from Red Hat Container Catalog
- MariaDB uses "gluster-cns" Storage Class
- Deployment Configuration mounting "gluster-cns" based PVC on "/var/lib/mysql/data"
Issue
MariaDB pod deployment fails on Openshift 3.7 when using gluster based container native storage.
