Turning off automatic publishing of repositories

Satellite 6.1.9 comes with important optimization of the synchronization process. From this version on, rpm repository metadata are updated only when some new content is pulled. However, this improvement works only for newly created repositories. To activate it on existing ones, you need to turn their automatic publishing feature off.
