How do I get cryptsetup to work on my Power machine?

Cryptsetup will fail with a segmentation fault on Power machines. By default, both a 32- and 64-bit cryptsetup are installed, but since the 64-bit version is installed after the 32-bit version, /sbin/cryptsetup is 64-bit.
To work around the segmentation fault, uninstall and then re-install the 32-bit version, for example:
