bind-dyndb-ldap does not cache non-existing DNS names

The bind-dyndb-ldap database driver of an earlier version than 4.0 (all versions shipped prior to the RHEL 7.1 release) does not cache non-existing DNS names. As a result, repeated DNS queries for non-existing names can impose significant load on an LDAP server used by bind-dyndb-ldap.
