Red Hat Customer Portal: New Features Available on April 20, 2013

We're pleased to announce the following major features included with our update published on April 20, 2013. These features, along with numerous bug fixes and minor enhancements, are now available to all users.

Announcing Announcements!

As mentioned in a previous update, we have begun to use a new announcement platform. You can now view a list of announcements, and you will begin to see these promoted on our homepage and other pages as appropriate.

Use Markdown with Comments

You can now use Markdown when commenting on an article, video, or other Knowledge content. We hope the ability to add visual style and structured content like lists and tables within your comments will provide you with even more tools to collaborate with us and each other.

Case Management

We made a few updates to the Case Management application. First, case comments sometimes did not show the correct timestamps, did not sort correctly, or both. Second, we received feedback that the search capability returned incomplete results. We addressed both these issues in this release.
