IPsrcaddr resource is not working with IPv6 addresses

Issue

  • Why is the IPsrcaddr resource not working properly using IPv6?

  • pcs status output reports the resource as 'Stopped' and the monitor as failed.

      * IPsrcaddr_ipv6  (ocf::heartbeat:IPsrcaddr):  Stopped
  Failed Resource Actions:
  * IPsrcaddr_ipv6_monitor_0 on nodea 'not configured' (6): call=149, status='complete', exitreason='Invalid IP address [aaaa::eeee:ffff:ffff:fff1]', last-rc-change='Tue Apr  9 12:18:33 2024', queued=0ms, exec=70ms

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7, 8 or 9 with the High Availability Add-on
