systemd logs "Ignoring invalid environment assignment" for OVS services when --mlockall=no is used

Issue

  • The following errors are logged in /var/log/messages after openvswitch.service is restarted if --mlockall=no is defined in /etc/sysconfig/openvswitch:

    Oct 16 16:07:01 compute-1 systemd[1]: ovs-vswitchd.service: Ignoring invalid environment assignment '--mlockall=no': /etc/sysconfig/openvswitch
Oct 16 16:07:03 compute-1 systemd[1]: ovsdb-server.service: Ignoring invalid environment assignment '--mlockall=no': /etc/sysconfig/openvswitch
