Tekton pipeline operator task execution is slow
Issue
- Tekton Pipeline operator is taking a longer time to schedule task
- While performance can also be due to infrastructure, Running a really large concurrent pipeline workload deteriorates task execution performance resulting in overall performance degradation for Pipelines.
Environment
- Redhat OpenShift Container Platform 4.12+
- Redhat OpenShift Pipelines operator 1.10+
- 1000's of pipeline runs with several hundred running concurrently
