Issue

  • An OCS 4.X Cluster stays in Warning state due to 'X OSDs or CRUSH {nodes, device-classes} have NOOUT flags set'

    $ ceph health detail
HEALTH_WARN 6 OSDs or CRUSH {nodes, device-classes} have {NOUP,NODOWN,NOIN,NOOUT} flags set
OSD_FLAGS 6 OSDs or CRUSH {nodes, device-classes} have {NOUP,NODOWN,NOIN,NOOUT} flags set
osd.0 has flags noout
osd.1 has flags noout
osd.2 has flags noout

  • After a MC implementation, the noout flag remains set on the OSD's and is not unset automatically.
