How to replace a Storage Node in OCS / OCP 3.11 Converged Mode

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

There are several situations that require to reinstall / replace a node in an OCS environment (ie HW server will be decommissioned and replaced with new HW servers, or simply the node was destroyed/lost , ie if the server was based on a Virtual Machine)

In Kubernetes/OCP, nodes names are not expected to be reused, it is not wrong to create new node with the same name, but it is discouraged because the idea is to automate the removal of lost nodes and addition of new ones without extra effort.

Adding a new node with a new name , new IP and adding a clean disk on that node is the right method.

See required steps on the resolution section.
